A to Z Learning Tree follows District 202's school calendar. If the schools in District 202 are closed for any reason, A to Z Learning Tree will also be closed. This includes holiday, institute and conference days as well as weather related closings. Weather related closings will be added onto the end of the school year in the same way that the school district does, with no tuition change.
Since A to Z Learning Tree is in my home it may have to close due to my illness. If this happens the school year will be extended by that many days with no tuition change.
If your child is absent due to illness there is no refund. Please keep your child home if they are vomiting, have diarrhea or are unable to play and participate. If the child can not play for any reason you will be expected to pick them up within 15 minutes of getting a phone call. Please abide by our sick policy because although we learn to share at A to Z...we try to keep our germs to ourselves!
Payment for the month is due on the first day of attendance for that month. All months are the same tuition regardless of number of attendance days. Tuition is due September 1st - May 1st. No tuition payment for August or June.
Your child will be given a video, a T-shirt, a bag and other items at the back to school party. A change of clothes should be kept in the bag at all times. The bag will be used every day of school to put papers in that are to go home. Each child will also get a disc of pictures at Christmas and again in June.
Class starts at 9:00 with free play for 15 minutes. All children must be here no earlier then 8:55 and no later then 9:10 in order to attend for that day. Class ends at 11. All children must be picked up by 11:05. Late pick up fees are $3 per minute after that time.
All Children must have an up to date physical on file before the first day of school. They must also have signed DCFS paperwork on file.
